Question about MK closing & reopening for MVMCP

I did a search and found out people who have tickets for MVMCP can get wrist bands around 4 or 5pm in MK and stay in Tomorrow Land until the park reopens for MVMCP which starts at 7pm.

Let's say I have a priority seating for CRT around 5:30. Will the CM's let us leave Tomorrowland to go to CRT for our dinner reservations?

I read that some people on the DisBoards make PS arrangements for LTT & other restaurants in MK for around 5:45pm when doing MVMCP. Just want to know how this works with the park closing and everyone getting moved into Tomorrowland.

No problem! I'd suggest that you simply get your wristband before you go for your PS...the MK is only 'closed' for an hour before MVMCP...(in other words closing at 6) so you'll be in dinner at that point. If you don't get your wristband before eating...you may well have to go to the turnsiles. In past years there's always been 3-4 CM's who have been near the 'kodack photo spot' to the front and left of the castle....personally...I'd try to get my wrist band as early as possible...do dinner...then have a heck of a good time at the Party! If you've never been...you simply won't believe it!

Thanks for posting! Yes, this is my first MVMCP event and I can't wait! We are actually flying out a day early to catch the party on the last day, Dec. 19th!

Yes, it's the same for both parties.

When you arrive before the park closes, they will give the wristband as you enter the park and you'll be all set for dinner and the party.

One year, they gave me my wristband in the restaurant BUT either way they will NOT make you go back to the turnstiles if you are eating dinner there the night of the party.

Last year the regular close was 6:00pm and they had fireworks then. So it wasn't even an hour in between. We watched the 6:00 fireworks from the refreshment stand near Dumbo and it was a great view, we had never seen them back there, they seem so much closer (they are shot off from behind Fantasyland). Then we headed over to Tomorrowland.
