Question about Milk Shakes

Are Milk Shakes included on the dinning plan at places like Sci-Fi , Whispering Canyon and 50's???

Seriously, I was just coming here to post the same exact question!

I wanted to know if there are milkshakes on the menu, are they included with the DxDP? My DS is a milkshake nut and since we'll be on vacation, I'd like him to be able to get one whenever he wants. LOL!

It depends on the restaurant as to whether they will count as a beverage or as a dessert, but yes, they're included.

I have been to all three restaurants and was able to get the Milkshake as a drink and still get dessert. I have not been to Sci Fi since 2007 so I'm not sure if there rules are still the same. I went to 50's and WCC in December and was able to get them and a dessert. WCC has lots of different kinds and you get free refills there on them so you can try lots of flavors!

It completely depends on the server you get.

We have gotten smoothies and milkshakes as the drink at all of those restaurants - but there have also been times we've been told no - that it has to be used as the dessert.

I think it depends on the whim and mood of the server you get on that day. Either way, it's all good...I figure there's only so much dessert I can truly eat in one day, so there's no sense in getting myself in a bind over it.
