A friend of mine is planning an upcoming October trip and she's noticed that some dates on the Magic Kingdom are showing extended hours. Should she assume that the dates that show the extended hours are the evening that they will have the party?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Nope kinda the opposite! Any days that show a particularly early closing time (approx 7pm) you can assume those will be party days. If you google around, there are a few blogs with educated guesses - based on previous years - of the party dates.

the post above is correct. The times shown are the general park times, since MNSSHP is a ticketed event, they do not display those times.
So the dates that show extended hours are just that, extra hours for all park guests. The dates that show the park closing early around 7pm will be the MNSS days - as the regular park guests have to leave to let the ticketed guests in.

I hope that made sense!
