Question about MGM on 30 Dec

I see that MGM is due to be open late that night and I'm sure I read somewhere that they run the same events/fireworks as they do for 31 Dec (new year's eve).

Can anyone confirm that this is the case? I want to plan my trip - thinking about doing MGM on 30 and then Epcot on 31 Dec.

There are always fireworks on December 30. It's my birthday! Sorry I can't answer your actual question, but I hope someone else can!

I know they do this in the MK on Dec 30 but I haven't heard anything about MGM.

By "open late", do you mean evening EMH ? I could be wrong, but I think MGM has morning EMH not evening on Dec 30.
