Hello!!!

I am hoping some lovely people can help me out:cloud9:

Sorry in advance that this will be a long post.

Last year I found out about the college program and went crazy doing all kinds of research, following blogs, and going 100% obsessed with it all but the more I looked the more I wanted to do it so I had to go cold turkey till
1) I finished my first semester(and I was still at the time about 6-months pre starting school)
2) finding out if I could do it.

Well I did a summer semester and now am half way done with a "full" semester so I've got that part complete.
Sadly though there are some things concerning me...that might pop my Disney bubble

1) I have a few medical conditions which mainly include MVP= Mitral Valve Prolapse and something else called Syncope of Unknown Orgin...which means
for some unknown reason my blood pressure will plummet and I’ll pass out. They've never been able to find a cause or a solution for this...they can just tell that my blood pools at my feet and that my being the heat doesn't help it from happening...it will happen anywhere and anytime but once my body gets hot it just becomes a higher chance.
Unfortunately sometimes this limits me from doing things since I can randomly pass out with only about a 3-5 second warning. I don't want to miss that chance to do this amazing opportunity but I know I will have to have a few medical accommodations...like being able to work inside and being about to take breaks every so often.
My problem is I no longer have insurance and I know from doing my research last year that you have to have a letter from a doctor....I was hoping that someone could elaborate or if they went through the program with accommodations that they could give me the FYI. Is there any way they'd make the accommodations without me having a way for a doctor to write this down??

2) My second question is...I am currently getting my AA degree from Seminole state(I live in Florida) and I am afraid because there not a big university they won't let me do the program.
First off...who would I speak to at the school to find out if they'd allow me to do it?
Also what are probably my chance they would? I really would like to do fall 2012 because it would be right before I finish my AA...after that I’ll probably
transfer to UCF for my Bach in Psychology there...i am sure it's more likely that UCF allows it but I really inpatient lol.

Thanks so much!!!!:lovestruc
Sorry for the blabber.

You've seen a doctor for this in the past though haven't you? So one of your former doctors would have it on file that you've been diagnosed with this condition. I would think you could just ask for a copy from them. I'm not really sure the entire process Disney goes through though.

I am hoping that might work because I know I've got medical records so i'm sure if they'd take that I can find something in my records that would prove that:yay:
