I have an odd question I can't find addressed previously. Here's my situation. We only have 2 yellow tags total for the ME. One with my name and one with my sons. We are checking 3 bags.

So here's where it gets tricky. We are arriving the 22nd. I originally booked arriving the 23rd. So I have 2 yellow tags from my previous reservation, but they have Oct 23rd on them.

For the 3rd bag, do I just not put any yellow tag on it. Or should I go ahead and put a yellow tag from my previous ME reservation. It's the same resort. Think it would get there? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Thanks!!!!

Ok, I went ahead and made my own yellow tag for it! I didn't want the wrong bar codes on it to screw it up, so I just added a bright yellow tag and cut the Mickey head and All Star Movies off the old tags and stuck them on the suitcase. Hoping that will at least get their attention! Haha!

Then I'll just let the CMs at the DME counter know I have a 3rd bag without the official tag on it!

Hope that works!!!!

Yep, in the Luggage Tag Info sticky...

In order to "have Disney claim them for you as if you did have those yellow tags. Bypass baggage claim, and go straight to the Welcome Center. From there, give the Cast Member your luggage claim tickets. They will create replacement tags for you, find your bags, tag them, and send them to your resort."

I would not use that tag. It's likely to cause a lot of confusion. You just need to give them your luggage claim ticket and a description of the bag when you check in at the DME counter. It's very simple and it happens all the time.
