Question about MDE App

I have the MDE app. It shows all my plans, hotels, dining, etc. It list my tickets and MVMCP tickets. However when I look at the FP selection it still says I need to link my tickets. So do I just put ticket number in? All of this shows on the computer version. It is only the App on my phone that it says tickets not linked when it comes to the Fast Pass. Don't want to mess it up as my FP selection day is next week. ( I was just looking on the App to see where I go to do the FP next week so I will be ready to go.)

Just curious as to why it shows my tickets under the ticket tab but does not show it under the Fast Pass tab

If you are outside your window to book FPs, I have noticed there will be an issue with linking your tickets. So maybe that’s part of the problem if it’s still too early for you to make FP reservations.
 
If when you go to make fp it says you don’t have tickets it’s either because they are package tickets or date based tickets and your fp date hasn’t arrived yet. Everything will show properly at 7am on your fp day
 

Thanks. I will probably make my fast passes on my computer as I think I can move faster with a mouse. My big fingers get in the way on my phone 😁. So I’m not gonna worry about it not showing up until after I make my fp. I would like to use the app for in park for modifications and additional fast passes
 
There is nothing wrong.
It will say that until 7am eastern time on the day your window opens.
Once the window opens at 7am eastern time you'll be able to make selections.
If you want to make selections with your party ticket you'll need to make all other selections first and also be aware that your last day of FP may be in jeopardy.

While not "directly" a GLITCH...
There is something "wrong" in that this is horribly written software... something that is so unclear to the consumer as it causes major confusion.

It would be similar to displaying that a guest had no resort room until check-in day.

So, it's actually worse than a glitch...
It is an intentional listing of bad information.
 
^^ I agree. Probably the group who programmed the computer website was a different group from those programming the phone app and interpreted the requirements differently. Certainly if information is NOT displayed the same in both places, I would call that a glitch/program error.

Disney IT applications in general are terrible and a constant source of complaints on here. The way much of the information displays leads me to believe they out-sourced the programming to a group having NO idea how things should look/operate. Things on the app are clumsily arranged, hard to find and certainly not intuitive for how you think they should be.

It should work on your FP+ booking day. That’s what happened to me. My booking day was August 16th and that’s the first it didn’t say I didn’t have tickets linked. I know, it’s confusing.

The new app is even worse than the old one. I discovered I had accidentally updated the app on our first day in the park. Yeah, I don't recommend doing that. :sad2: I still couldn't find everything I needed by the end of the trip.

I did the same thing last week! I was so frustrated trying to pull up plans! One cast member took pity on my as I’m scanning our MB for a fast pass and it didn’t turn green! I’m looking at my phone saying, I updated and I can’t find anything! She was like, you’re just a little early, come on in!
