Hello all,
Strange questions here but we don't know what to do! My DH is a huge soccer fan and agreed to leave for Disney on June 12 only if we chose a flight time that would allow him to see the the big U.S. vs. England game. We are set to land at MCO an hour before the game starts. Would you chance it and attempt to get to our resort (POR) on ME or would you watch it at the airport? If the airport is the best option, where could we watch it there? Also, is it going to be a problem if we don't get on ME right away if we stay at the airport to watch the game?
I would appreciate any advice you have!

It is very likely going to take you longer than an hour to get to your resort. You should also find out on what network the game will be aired - Disney resort TV isn't exactly like your home cable and you might find that network isn't available at all!

If you stay at the airport, there's a Fox Sports Bar that is probably your best bet. It's closest to the security checkpoint for gates 1-59. See the map here - it's in the area marked "J."

The game will be on either ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2. I'd guess ABC given it's a huge US game on a Saturday. Disney will have all of those networks because they are part of the Disney family.

Thanks for the tip! We probably won't try to get to POR to watch, but will there will be a problem with ME at all if we don't get on right away?
Thnx again!

No problem with DME if you dilly dally at the airport it it is not after 10 PM.

(DME may shut down if there are no more guests expected.)
