I am camping and flying for my next WDW trip. I will have two large duffels and my folding camp chair in a bag which I will check. Unfortunatley those duffels are stuffed as full as they will go and I will have to also carry my day pack as a carry-on.

I know the "official" line is three bags total, but can the day pack count as a purse or will I have problems.??

Thanks for the help.

Its my understanding that a daypack/backpack counts as one of your 3 alloted luggage items. Id love to take my DVC backpack and a carry-on but Im not going to risk it. I'll take a larger checkin bag if I need.

Something about the size of a laptop computer satchel or a typical ladies purse will qualify as a fourth free baggage item, assuming you check the first two or three. If the fourth item seems to look like a backpack (including child's school book size) or a briefcase (or larger) it might not qualify as a fourth baggage item overall, or a personal carryon in addition to another carryon. Agents usually let diaper bags for infants qualify.
