Question about making Palo reservations

When they start taking reservations for Palo on the first afternoon onboard ship, can we go and try to make reservations for tea, brunch, and dinner, at the same time? Or do they only let you make one reservation at a time? Also, can we make reservations for SIL & BIL while they're off making spa reservations, or do they need to be there at the time the reservations are made?? I REALLY would love to do at least tea and brunch at Palo, and hopefully dinner, too. Is that being too greedy, to try to get reservations for all 3 events??

Seaspray - just got off the ship this morning, so my info is current!

Our first reservation was made Saturday upon boarding. We asked if we could make another, and were told we could Monday or Tuesday, so that everyone else would have a chance to make them on Saturday - which is very fair IMHO.

We had a brunch on Monday morning, Dinner Tuesday night, and Dinner Wednesday night.

It was absolutely lovely, and the best experiences we had onboard!

So, they only let you make a reservation for one meal at Palo on that first day, whether its for dinner, or brunch, or tea, then you have to go back another day to try and get reservations for the other meals?? Hmm....not sure which I'd choose first, probably the brunch.

When we cruised in August, we made our reservations for all at the same time when we boarded....the seatings were all on different days, but, we made the reservations all at the same time.....I hope this is what you're looking for......Andy

We were on the Dec. 13 sailing. I was able to make reservations for dinner and brunch at the same time. There were tables set up in the middle of RBD taking dinner reservations for different nights. You just went to the table for the night you wanted. Then there two guys taking reservations for brunch and tea at a booth in RBD. So immediately after I made my dinner res., I walked over to the booth to make brunch reservations. I could have made tea res. also at that time if I had wanted. There was someone in the line ahead of me who was making reservations for herself and for someone else, so I think you should be able to make reservations for the in-laws.

RBD was open for reservations at noon when we first boarded the ship. I went directly there while DH took the kids to Parrot Cay to get a table for lunch. In less than 10 minutes I was able to join them.

Enjoy Palo. We absolutely loved the brunch! The dinner was also superb, but we liked the brunch the best.

Another option.
We sailed 12/6 and booked the Romantic Escape at sea package for $299. Part of the package allows you to make Dinner, Brunch and Tea reservations by phone before you leave from home.

We have been able to make reservations for Brunch and one (1) dinner upon boarding. If you have another party (second cabin) that you will be traveling and dining with, they can make a reservation for a different night upon boarding. This way, your reservations can be done at once.

Thanks everyone, you've answered my questions I wanted to know whether I could make the different reservations on that first afternoon, but for different days that week, and apparently I can Now to decide when to do each meal!!

You can make one brunch, dinner and tea reservation when you first get on. If you want any additional dinners/brunchs..you have to wait untill after 6pm that evening, or the next day.

You cannot make reservations for your SIL. However...if you are in separate cabins, each cabin can make a reservation. For instance, you want to go to Palo together for dinner. You can make a reservation for 4 people for dinner on Monday, and can also make a reservation for brunch and tea. (figure you, husband, SIL, BIL). SIL can also make a reservation for dinner for 4 on another nite. That way, your family actually has 2 dinner reservations. Of course, this won't work if you want an intimate dinner for 2! If you want even more Palo time, you can make those reservations after the first day if space is available.

Spa reservations are less a priority that Palo.....but BIL can make his Palo while SIL makes spa for them.....
