Question about making adrs

We have an adr for captain jacks on the free dining but i am worried that they will not allow the lobster on the plan . So i wanted to know if the adr system will let me to make 2 ressies within the same time frame. I want to make a planet hollywood ressie as my backup if captain jacks won't let us do lobster. We won't be eating there then.

I wouldn't risk trying to have 2 ADR's for the same time. If you try to add the 2nd one the CM may very likely cancel the other, there are also reports of the computer system dropping adr's within the same time frame. There are also times that Planet Hollywood doesn't take ADR's and only accepts walk ups.

As far as your question about the lobster tail you may want to check out: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1545287 It's not listed as an excluded item, although that could have changed.

Last September, lobster tails were included. They were on the small side, but still good. Everything I've read on a number of different sites say they've been included in prior years, too.

As far as two reservations at the same time is concerned, if you book the second one using a different telephone number, and don't tell them you're doing it when you call, you won't have a problem. If you use the same one, since they have the ability to search by phone number and then can see all of your reservations, when they see duplicates, they will make you cancel one.

But you shouldn't need to make two, since lobster seems to have always been included at Cap'n Jacks

The Disney Dining CM does not take the time to look up previous ressie's you may have made. Even if you ask them to pull all your ressies they will not cancel any of your ADR's without your consent. At the very worse they may ask if you realize you have made 2 at the same time. You are perfectly within your rights to do so. Just tell them that you plan to cancel one as soon as you have finalized your plans.
