ENOUGH!!!! Stop the quibbling. Man.
Anyway.....
Nope, I will not rent a car. Can't a person just be curious about something without someone jumping down there throat!
There are often guests who don't have a minute to spare..could be a too tight ADR or they have to be somewhere so really need to get to the resort as quickly as possible. No one jumped down anyone's throat here. I'm sure they thought you might be in a rush, hence the question.
So...to answer your question...no, there are no set routes with DME. For instance, I have used DME four times to get to BW. One time we stopped at the Dolphin first, then YC, then BC, then BW. I'm assuming that the passenger getting off at the Dolphin was either heading out on a cruise (which can put them on a DME bus there) or was at a time when Mears would put S/D people on the DME but charge them for the ride.
Other times, the bus has stopped at YC, BC, BW then gone on to CBR. Last April, we stopped at POR first, then BW.
At POP, we have stopped at POP first most of the time, but on occasion have gone to AKL first, then CSR, then POP.
So.....the routes change. You will most likely be among the first stops...maybe WL first, then CR, then Polynesian and then GF. But, again it can vary. There is absolutely no way to tell, ahead of time, which resort will be the first, second or last stop.
The average time it has taken me, in about 8 rides, is 70 mins, from deplaning to resort. Only one time did it take 90 mins....POP was the last of three stops, with a ton of luggage being taken out from under the bus at each of those first two stops.
