question about magical express and luggage

We will be arriving late at night (11 PM) at MCO
It will be grandma, DS 5, DD 9 months and me.
I was planning on doing online check in so we could head straight to our room
It will really help us not to have to lug around our luggage
If I put he tags on my bags, will I have to wait until the next morning to get them delivered to our room?
Not really a problem or us, but if I so I will have to pack jammies, change of clothes for the morning, etc in the carry on

DME has a 10pm cut off time for their direct to resort room luggage delivery service. You will have to pick up your bags at the Orlando airport and bring your luggage with you on the bus.

Yep. Don't bother with the yellow tags. Your late arrival time means you need tp pick up your luggage and bring it to the bus.

You should do that anyway, any time you fly.

As others have said, you should pack what you need for the first 24-36 hours in your carryon *no matter what*.

And you won't get to take part in the luggage delivery service b/c you get in after 10pm.

So the bags have to go with you.

No need for you to lug. At the carousel find a porter and hire him/her. They will take you over to the DME line and they'll wait for you to pointed to a bus. They'll hand the bags over to the bus driver who will take them from there. When you arrive, the driver will take them off, and you can go in and request a Bell Services person who will then take the bags to your room with you.

For the cost of a couple bucks per bag per person, there is NO need to lug the bags around. You just have to increase your tip budget. WELL worth it.

Just as a word of warning, not everyone receives the text or email with their room number after completing online check-in. If you don't, you may need to proceed to the online check-in counter when you arrive to get your room number. Should only take an extra minute that time of night though.

Grab your luggage, have 24 hours worth of "stuff" in your carry-ons (LOTS of diapers!), store it all under the bus.
