Question about Magic Kingdom Castle lighting during holidays

Hi -

We are planning on attending MK during our upcoming trip on a MVMCP day, but do not have party tickets (and buying them really isn't an option, since we have a toddler who needs to be in bed by 7). I know last year Anna and Elsa had a show where they lit the icicle lights on the castle, but I assumed this happened as soon as it got dark. Now, looking at the park schedule, there is an A&E Holiday Wish show at 8:00, which has me thinking we won't be able to see the icicle lights. Does anyone know if the castle is lit before the party starts, or if that happens during the party?

Thanks!

Last year on Party nights, the Castle was lit at 6ish and then the lights were turned off and the show ran again for Party guests-only.

Both.:)

A Frozen Holiday Wish is at 6:15 PM and 7:30 PM on non-MVMCP nights and at 6:15 PM and 8:00 PM on MVMCP nights.

The Castle "goes dark" befor each show.:)

The schedule for this week is Wednesday-Thursday-Friday----6:15 PM;8:20 PM
Saturday----6:15 PM;7:30 PM

I "think" the 8:20 PM shows will go to the 8:00 PM starts when MVMCPs start.:)
