question about magic express

We are staying at BWV and then going to another resort for 3 days and renting a car. Does anyone know if we can use Magic Express to take us back to the airport or is that not possible because we staying the last 3 days at a different resort? Or should we just use the rental car and go to the airport ourselves? Thanks!

Are you using DME from the airport to BWV? If so it shouldn't be a problem at all. In June, and for my trip in late Nov, I'll be arriving at one resort and then leaving from a different resort. DME had no problem with that. If you are not using DME from the airport to BWV it still shouldn't be a big issue. Just make return arrangements with them. I'm assuming that you're renting a car on-site at WDW. As long as you aren't staying at either the Swan or the Dolphin you should be able to use DME for your return.

Easiest thing to do is change your homebound ME reservation at the resort at least a day before you check out. The bus pickup time that you need to get will be about the same, about 3 hours before your flight time.

You can have ME taking you to one resort and pick you up from another. I would definitely go ahead and set it up that way in advance. We received our ME confirmation under our door the morning of the day before we checked out, and it is not a simple matter to have it changed after that.

Is the "different resort" a Disney Resort?

If you're staying at the Swan/Dolphin, Shades of Green, a Hotel Plaza hotel, or an off-site hotel, you won't be able to use Magical Express three days after you check out from BWV.

If you're staying at two on-site Disney resorts, there is no problem arriving at one Disney resort and departing from another.

Make proper Magical Express arrangements as soon as possible. That's much easier than trying to make changes while you're at WDW.

No we are staying at BWV and then Marriott Grand Vista. We are renting a car from Alamo at The Dolphin (or swan). But we are only staying there 2 nights. So I think from your post it is okay because it is within the three days?

Your DME return trip to the airport must be on your check-out day from a Disney resort.

Let me add: If ME for your trip down is correct but the homebound trip is wrong, better not to telephone before getting there and run the chance of the trip down getting screwed up.
