Question about magic bands, vacation package, and park entry

Hello. We have a week booked at Caribbean Beach with park hopper and dining in November. We check in on a Friday and check out on the following Friday. If I only use 6 of my 8 park days by my checkout date, will the bands still work the next day? It's within 14 days of initial use. We are going to be around one day past our Disney checkout date and would like to use one of the remaining days. I think it should work, but I'm just not sure.

The bands don't stop working for park admission until the tickets run out. The only thing your band won't be able to do is charge back to the room (since you won't have the room) and open your room door (since you won't have the room).
