Question about mad hatter/Baloos' costumes

Not sure where this should go so mods move this to the right forum.

In Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter has a green coat. In real life he wears orange.
Anyone know why?

In The Jungle Book Baloo is more grey. In real life he blue.
Why?

Finally someone said that in France Goofy has a yellow waistcoat but in America it is orange?

Can someone shed some light on these questions for me please!!

They were probably designed by the same people who put Ariel in green.

I figured the Ariel thing was about color balance when appearing with other characters (for Ariel there's another princess in pink already).

Are all of your clothes the same colour? I'll admit I've never really thought much about the colour of any particular characters costumes since so many of them have different wardrobes ( especially the fab 5).

As for Baloo, the blue is probably more photogenic and shows up better than grey.

For the Hatter, I also go with it looks better in pictures. The green he wears in the movie is kinda dull. Orange is a sillier color.

If you look at the new design some of the princesses got a few years ago, they do not exactly resemble their movie anymore.

Call it artistic freedom.
