Since I booked my stay through Expedia can I still recieve my free milk&cookies or whatever I choose?

It's a free card that you can use at all Loews Hotels. It can get you a room upgrade, free milk&cookies, wine&cheese, or fruits. The card can be obtained at www.loewshotels.com

Thanks Spaceman!!

We're all signed up and ready for August... Thought we would try the milk & cookies..

Thanks so much for that repost of Loews website. I applied months ago and never received a response...maybe this time.

Hi Spaceman,

Getting Loews benefits seems to be inconsistent. Some people are lucky enough to receive them, while others aren’t. We stayed at the PBH recently with the entertainment rate. We were lucky enough to receive both a room upgrade and our fruit welcome basket.

I’m not sure how Expedia bookings work, we booked through Universal. Prior to our visit, I telephoned the hotel directly– confirmed the reservation and ask them to add our Loews number to the reservation.

You may want to try telephoning your hotel. You could also request a complimentary room upgrade if you wanted. They’ll make a note of your request on their reservation system. I think, as long as they have your Loews card number – they will do the rest. We were upgraded before we even checked in, so at check in we didn’t have to ask!

Hope everything works out for you

Karen

I also applied months ago and received nothing. I called the 800 number and they told me I was registered and gave me my Loew's first number so I can use it when I arrive tomorrow.

Jast got back last night from three nights at HRH. Had Loew's First Card, but didn't receive anything. I think it's because I had a Entertainment Rate.

To be honest, I didn't "push" it. Maybe if I had asked about it, they would have given us something, but I didn't. My own fault I guess.

Well I used Loews card to get upgrade to concierge level, they have all the cookies and milk you can consume, and for six of us that was alot, and for those that did not get these they were great they had chocolate chip and another kind, tried to eat some for you guys too, also invited several groups of people I met up for a cookie and a look around concierge level....

We just got back Saturday from WDW and USF/IOA, stayed at the HRH, using the Universal Fan Club rate (my work had the fan club cards). I called and registered for my Loews First membership, gave HRH my number when I checked in since I hadn't received the card yet. When I called down later in the evening to ask about getting the milk and cookies sent to our room, I was told that you can't get the freebies when using a discount rate, but they sent them up anyway (and I wasn't charged). When I picked up our mail today, my Loews card was in the mail, and if you read the fine print it says that the perks don't apply when using discount and/or group rates.

Well it seems the moral here is to negotiate better and try a good old fashioned financial incentive to the desk clerk to look a little harder for that concierge room. You won't be disappointed if you get a regular room, but if you do get to the concierge level it is a lot of foun, my kids thought they had died and gone to heaven and never underestimate the free sodas, they retail at the pool for about $2.00 apiece, and beer is $3.50.It is well worth at least trying a bribe and a little persistance. I am amazed at how meek people are, guess its the lawyer in me, but hey you spend all year saving for a trip and you at least want to try and make it memorable. Kids still have the key card. We ended up picking up a cousin along the way, didn't want him to be the only one without a key, so went back to original desk person who I had enriched and it was no problem,. these people aren't getting rich so a little goes a long way I believe toward improving the quality
of your room location. Just my thoughts...
