Question about Lego toys

Does anyone know if there is some kind of kit that comes with just part for cars, such as the wheels, steering wheels, little lights, etc. My nephews were over the other day, had their Legos & were fighting over these parts while they making their vehicles.

I thought if I could find just these parts for Christmas I'd get them. I have found the million pieces buckets, but they only contain 4 wheels or something like that & all those little block parts that they don't need.

My girls were never in to Legos, so I'm not familiar with what's out there. TIA!

They do make smaller sets. You could get one that has a vehicle in it. Something similar to this.

the one I went to last year had an entire wall of loose pieces - including vehicle parts, and you could fill a plastic container with whatever you wanted. There were a smaller and a larger size, with set prices for whatever you could fit in them.

UGH.....I should have gone to the one at DTD when I was there last week! Wish I would have known it was such a big deal for them at that time!

You can buy individual pieces on Lego.com. Go to "Shop", then "by category", then "individual bricks & building accessories", then "pick a brick". There are tons to choose from, you can choose a category to look at under "brick search". I get this for a stocking stuffer every year for my son.
