If I can't get ressies for LeCellier for dinner, would lunch be just as good or should I save my ts for dinner somewhere else? How is the lunch? Is that hard to get into as well?
Thanks.

Did you try? I just booked Leciellier' and dates, and times were wide open, for dinner at a very reasonable time of 6 & 6:30.

I have never been for lunch, but I hear it is as good. But, I would do dinner. Maybe, be flexible with your times. You should get it. If you are 180 days out. Hopefully!:goodvibes

No, I haven't tried yet. I can't book until April 22. But everyone says its impossible to get in so I wanted to be prepared when I am on the phone. So if they say dinner is closed, then I wil lknow if I want to do lunch or go somehwere else. I know that dinner is probably better, but just in case, I needed to know if lunch is better than nothing, or if I should just go somewhere else if I cant get dinner. I am hoping for dinner though!

You shouldn't have a problem getting dinner ressies at 180 days! We never have. That far out, you can pretty much pick your time. Closer in is when it gets difficult to get something. Within the week is basically impossible! ;)

We booked for lunch this time. To us it's just as good. Since we're paying totally OOP this year, lunch was a more "affordable" option for a family of 5! :thumbsup2

This is my 4th time eating @ Le Cellier and I have never had a problem booking if I book with enough time before my trip---usually around 160 days...I have always had my choice of times..so don't worry too much and keep calling if they don't have what you want at first.

If you seriously want to up your chances, when you call to make adrs be flexible on your nights and times.I booked at 180 days out and pretty much kept the whole week open since eating here is importnat to us .the only dinner slots were 4:10 and 4:30 for 3 people. It works for me because we like to eat early. But others may not like a dining time so early and won't book it.

We have never done dinner at LeCellier and will be doing it this coming trip. We have done lunch several times now and it has been beyond fabulous each time.

You should have no problem getting in. I made ressies the day before Easter and we leave 4/28/2008. I got 2 lunch ressies for our stay 4/30 and 5/7. We perfer lunch over dinner.

We loved our lunch at Le Cellier, it was just as great as dinner.

DH was able to order the BBQ filet but I couldnt get the mushroom filet because the items need to make it were not prepped for lunch. I has a beef tenderloin tip dish with veggies and udon noodles that was knock your socks off fantastic

I wanted to go for lunch this time but then I saw that the mushroom filet is not on the lunch menu so I guess no LeCellier for me(dinner doesn't work for me this time)Oh well.

I just tried to get an ADR for Sept 18-20 for dinner and no luck! CM said we could do lunch but the menu is so different from dinner that my DSis didn't want lunch. Is lunch just as good a dinner? DSis want the duck confit appy!
