We're going on our second cruise on 7/3 and I was wondering where is the laundry room on deck 7? On our last cruise we were on deck 6 but now we are on 7 and my mother wants to do some laundry. Well I don't know if want to is the best word more like needs to. :hyper: Any help with this would be great. Thanks!

Starboard side, just forward of the Aft elevators.

Laundry room on Deck 7 is right across from stateroom #7590. $1 to wash, $1 to dry (you might use $2 as they don't dry all that well), $1 for detergent, etc. HTH

Make sure you take your own dryer sheets packed in ziploc bags. They do not sell those.

And might I add it's great place to run into fellow DISers and pass the time-right Tooty?! Go Tues or Wed and no crowds.

I threw some Tide "pucks" in my suitcase so it saved me from paying $1 for detergent. If they get crushed it is okay because they are sealed in plastic.

We will be on the 7 night plus 4 nights at WDW so I KNOW i'll be doing laundry somewhere. I have ready to go:

dryer sheets
quarters
individual boxes of laundry (only $.50 here)

What are Tide "pucks" and where did you get them? I have been trying to find Wisk tablets and have come to the conclusion that they do not make them any more. Even checked the net and could only find them in a huge quantity on one site.

It's getting very hard to find the Tide ones also. I did find the Wisk ones in the isle with the "sample size" bottles of things at our WalMart.

Since the washers are front loading you need to place detergent on top of loaded clothes. I found out on my cruise in February (on another cruise line) that the Tide "pucks" didn't dissolve very well and ruined several things in my wash. :( I bought the detergent last week (I hadn't planned on doing laundry or meeting a fellower DISer in the laundry room :wave2: ) and next time will just bring my own in individual baggies. HTH

Besides meeting all the nice disers---it is also a cheap version of a steam room. LOL!! Who needs the rainforest room when you can have a Downy fresh steam room for free.

I've bought Tide liquid in a sample from Walmart. It was $1.50 for 4 loads. With a coupon, it was .50. Look near the checkstands, that is where I've continued to find it. Great for camping trips too. (Word to the wise. After the use, put the cap in with your laundry. If you replace it on the bottle, the residue of detergent leaks out of the lid and puddles under the bottle.)
