Question about later flight in and taking ME

We're going to be flying in on the Friday before Thanksgiving and getting to MCO about 9pm. Will there be any problem with taking ME that night? Assuming we should pick up our own luggage so that we won't get a knock on our door at midnight? Should we not put the ME tags on if we planing doing that? Not sure when Disney takes control of the luggage?

Disney will pick up your luggage until 10p - you could let them, but I'd probably prefer bringing it myself to have it on hand. Just don't put the yellow tags on and pick it up yourself, head to the check in desk, and they'll throw it on the bottom of the bus with you.

DME runs 24 hours a day so there won't be a problem using the bus service at all. Make sure to give them your flight info and have it on the res so that everything runs as smoothly and quickly as possible!

We've arrived later on a few stays; still within the time that ME will take care of luggage though. When we checked in, we asked that they not deliver our bags until the next morning (because 3 hours after check in would have put us in the midnight range). Each time, they honored our request and even asked what time we wanted the bags delivered. This was at CBR, Pop and BWV. My luck might have been especially good, but I liked not having to collect my bags from the luggage carousel and then schlep them over to the bus.

I just wanted to throw that out there as an option to consider.
