I am looking at taking dd4 in December for the Christmas decorations (just a weekend). Didn't they extend free dining last year until December? Now, with the economy even worse, maybe they will this year! I need a little pixie dust!:wizard:

Lat year the dining that was offered in December was part of an AP package. At least that is what is listed on mousesavers from 2008. The package that had dining that were for general public or Disney Vissa holders was only until 9/20.

I hear ya about holding out for some pixie dust. It would help me if they would just extend this years dining by 10 days. They don't even have to do that....just come out with another type of discount for October!

Free dining was NOT extended last year. There was a completely separate offer for Disney Visa holders and person specific pin codes that were sent out.

I answered a previous poster about the Disney VISA Free Dining offer that was extended to December last year, maybe that info would help you too:

:goodvibes Last year's info was:

(This 2008 offer is now expired, of course :cutie:)

Disney VISA Free Dining Offer (Oct-Dec, 2008)
For Disney VISA Cardmembers looking for both a magical vacation and a way to save money, this Walt Disney World® Resort vacation package is the perfect opportunity. You must purchase a Magic Your Way package that includes at least a three night stay and include at least a one day MYW park pass, and you will get the Disney Dining plan free for each person in your party for the length of your stay.

This FREE Dining offer is available most nights: 9/28-10/11, 11/9-11/22, 12/14-12/20/08. You must be a Disney VISA cardholder, and you must use your Disney VISA for the deposit and final payment.

If you don't already have a Disney VISA you might look into one, just in case the same offer comes out this year :cutie:

We did free dining last year from Dec 20-26. It was offered for Disney Visa Holders, I dont think it ever came out as a general offer. I agree, if you want all the offers possible, get a Disney Visa just in case. I am not sure how but we also got a small room discount on top of the free dining because when we changed our reservation and added the free dining our package went down (we didnt have any dining before).

The Disney Visa free dining for October, November, and December dates in 2008 came out on Sept.18 (but there was news of it a day prior on the disboards and Mousesavers).
