Question about Land's End Swimsuites for girls?

Just wondering how true to size are the Land's End swimsuits for girls. Saw that there are quite a few on sale. It seems that all suits run at least one size small. If my oldest is in a 16 girls suit now, do you think a 14 plus would work? I'm a size 10 and my suits are all 12 or 14's. I thought I would ask before placing an order. Any help would be great. I just ordered an 8 for my daughter that is wearing size 7 pants/jeans. We are going to WDW in May and then on vacation again in June and she needs some new bathing suits. I hate it when suits are small or tight on little girls and keep riding up. On the other hand, the bottom of her tankini can't be too big or it will fall off her! I can tell you that I had her try the 8 on and it fit perfectly. I don't know how much a difference plus size makes in an item. Does it bring it up almost another size? Maybe someone can answer that for you. If it does, I think you'd be fine.

I haven't found the Lands End girls suits to run small. MyDD9 (who wears a size 12 or 14 jean) wears a 14. She tried the 16-and it was really big.

Land's End swimsuits run pretty true to size in my opinion. If your DD wears a regular 16, I think a 14 plus will be too big (wide, baggy) for her.

Thanks guys. Her jean size right now is a 12 or 14. So, I too think the 14 and a half would be to big. I think we'll just hold off for now.

You can also order two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit to Sears. It might cost you a few bucks more but it cheaper than sending one back and paying for shipping on a second suit.
