The music is piped during Illuminations. We've been dining here during the Illuminations show every year since the restaurant opened. View is very limited imo. Even getting a window seat does not guarantee you a good view. To add, very nicely requesting a window seat and saying you are willing to wait for one has been met with a pretty snotty attitude from the outside hostess podium every single time. The treatment is so off-putting for my husband that he really hates eating here now. He does so for me because I love/crave mexican food and like their food pretty well; I really love their rose margarita; and even without a perfect view, you still get the ambiance of the show. (We stopped asking for any particular view in the last year or two.) In addition, right before it opened, we had dined with an imagineer who worked on the the lighting for this restaurant so we were very interested and had a great appreciation for the decor after that. Keep in mind also, that when La Hacienda was built, the reviews of San Angel Inn were terrible so there just wasn't another higher end mexican restaurant in Epcot to choose from for those who really craved it. With the recent rave reviews for San Angel Inn, we are opting to try them out again in September and will be supplementing La Cava as well for their excellent avocado margaritas.
