Question about Kids Meals and the DP

We will be going back after oldest dd turns 10, and she will be on the Adult plan. I know that you can not "trade up" from kid's DP to Adult, but is it OK if she still wants to order from the childrens menu? What if she wants the kids meal, but the adult dessert? Thanks - excited that she will have more choices, but also know that she may still want chicken nuggets!

Someone will be able to tell you for sure about the desserts, but I was told it depends on the restaurant. Some say yes, some no.
I would guess it would be no to the dessert, since it is "included' in the kids meals.

There's no specific policy so you will have to ask at each restaurant. If you're using an Adult credit some places might consider the nuggets as her entree and allow her to order an adult dessert. Other places might say she has to choose a child's dessert in which case it might be better to pay OOP and save her credit for a 2 credit dinner show or Signature restaurant.

Thanks for the advice! I guess we will just have to wait and see at each restaurant. Out of our 5 TS meals we have planned, 3 are buffets, so we will only need to check at the other 2.
