Question about Kidani

We will be staying there for the first time in 17 days, yay!!!! I know that there is no counter service restaurant there but is there a store that we can buy milk,etc, few items like that? Or do we need to go to AKL for those items? Thanks.

The store off the lobby has those items so no need to go to the Lodge.

The Jambo store has a larger selection, but not by much. For example: you can buy beer in both stores, but can only get the bottled margaritas at Jambo. Yeah, I know

Hahahaha! We all have our needs. My main items to purchase are milk and bottled water - so we should be all set. Love staying in a villa, but not planning to cook other than coffee and cereal.

We own and stay at Kidani often.

Although they do have a few staples in the lobby store, we usually just grab a taxi and head to Wal-Mart when we arrive and stock up for the week.

We've also ordered from garden grocer and had groceries delivered. Both options have worked well for us.

We own and only stay at Kidani - we love it there. Yes, you can get some items in their store. Jambo house definately has a larger selection as well as the counter service area. Although the first time I read it was a "long walk" between buildings, the people must have been walking very slowly, because it actually only took us 5 minutes to walk, and that was with kids. So it really is no big deal to go to Jambo. Have a great time!!
