I did the KTTKingdom tour in January--it was definitely worth the money. The Disney Visa discount was the best rate for me (20%) Ap and DVC were 10-15%. On our tour, we did hear the story of the HM and rode it, although we didn't have the audio sets that I have heard about.
We met at Town Hall about 9:15--we got our badges with our names on them, and a lanyard with our ticket. We also pre-ordered our meal from Columbia Harbor House here. We started the tour at about 9:30. There was a good bit of walking and standing (of course, I did this 2 days after I was in the 1/2 marathon, so it might not seem like as much walking at a different time). We rode the jungle cruise as a group, and HM as a gorup. We got to go to the backstage area beside of Splash Mountain, and then we got to go into the Utilidors. It is so cool to see these little back entrances that blend into the wood work, but provide the CMs with entrances to the back areas. We also got a cool pin for doing the trip. We ended the tour at Tony's just as the 3:00 parade was coming by town hall, so it is a long tour. I felt it was an excellent value, and hope to do more tours at other parks.
