I'm going on a Western Cruise in 2006, and I have a kind of weird question...

I'm really into visiting haunted places. My neighbor and I go all over the place visiting haunted places. There's one in Key West called Captain Tony's Bar. I know we hit Key West for a day - has anyone been there, or know if it is near where the boat docks?

Told you that was an odd question. :teeth:
Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer that. Here's a link to the bars website if anyone is interested. It's actually really neat. The guy (Capt. Tony) bough land that had a cemetary on it, and he didn't want to disturb it so he built the bar on the cemetary... A tree goes right through the middle of the bar, and tombtones are included in the floor, and a stone wall goes right through the bar. It's neat!!!

Haven't been there but we really like haunted stuff too. I thought we might be able to do the Haunted walking tour in KW but it would be cutting it too close to departure time.

We'll have to check out Captain Tony's too. It sounds really cool!

What's up with the Hard Rock? Had a beverage or 2 there before in the past and just curious. I walked into Capt Tony's once several years back and got freaked. I didn't even know it was "haunted" at that time but I'll tell ya what, I'm not going back :scared1:

Hello, I remember Capt. Tonys! There was a big tree and lots of stuff(business cards, signed dollar bills, bras) on the ceiling-can't remember what I left. Didn't know about it being haunted-I had to go because of hearing Jimmy Buffett sing about him. Its just down off Duval St-everythings pretty close to Mallory Sq.

Capt. Tony is still alive. He sold the bar but goes to the bar to sign tshirts. pirate:

Capt. Tony is indeed still there. He is 90 some years old and comes to the bar every night. However, if you want to get your picture taken with him, look out. He is still kinda frisky for his age if you know what I mean!
