Question about July Park Hours

I apologize if this is a duplicate. It keeps telling me that this has already posted but I can seem to find it within the forum.

I realize that the park hours are not out yet for July but looking at the July park hours from other years, I noticed something. For the week that we will be there (3rd-10th), Animal Kingdom closes at 7, understandably. MGM and MK are open until 11 (except on the fourth when MK is open until 1AM) which is great but Epcot closes at 9. Do you know why it is not open later? I thought that quite often Epcot was the park open the latest.

Also, does anyone know where I might find the historic hours for Downtown Disney, the Boardwalk and Pleasure Island for July? And does anyone know when the July hours will be officially released?

Sorry for so many questions in one thread but they all seem related. Thanks in advance for your info.

July hours should be out 5/1. Disney changes their hours of operation from year to year based on the crowds. Epcot seems to always close at 9 p.m. and I think it is because every night they have the firework display and it takes a long time to empty out the park after that (because so many people are there to see it). Mind you, the hours will be different this year because of the "extra evening hours" for onsite guests.
