Question about in room celebration

I was curious.... If you do an in room celebration with balloons or a basket, do you think that would delay your check in or would they have your room ready earlier?

Room availability has nothing to with in room celebrations.

It has to do with how busy the resort is, rooms out of inventory due to maintenance and refurbs, late check-outs, etc.

I have done 2 in room celebrations and both times, they wouldn't let me do it on my arrival day anyway. Had to be my 2nd night or later.

They won't deliver before you check-in. I was able to talk Disney Florist into setting up a Birthday celebration on our check-in day, but only because we drive from nearby and I could assure them we'd be there and checked-in before 5. But, they'll only do it once you have a room number and are checked-in. It won't be waiting for you when you first enter the room. But, if you are flying or have further to travel, they don't like to set up until Day 2 or later. They will coordinate everything with you and give you a two hour block when they'll set-up so you can be out of the room. I actually saw our delivery walk through the hotel lobby as we were heading down to dinner. I had to redirect my kiddo, so he wouldn't see the balloons! They do a great job and it's very special, but pricey! I thought it was worth it though.
