Question about Impitago and the resorts

This will be the first time we will be staying ONSITE with a toddler. All the other years we have gone have been off site or when my DD was old enough to walk. DD will be 10 mos. when we go in Sept. and crawling. Anyone here have children who got impitago or any other skin conditions from the carpet? I know...i'm a total germ-a-phobe

ACK! Impetigo is so yuck! When I travel with little guys who are still crawling, I bring my own disinfectant wipes and thoroughly go over the room, every single surface. As for the carpets all you can do is either hope they clean them regularly or bring your own steam cleaner!! Actually my Aunt Victoria used to do this... I'm going to hope that Disney makes sure that the rooms are clean and disinfected after each guest checks out!

It is my deepest hope that people who have children that obviously HAVE impetigo, would be careful not to let them infect others by cleaning both the children and the areas their children touch very carefully!!!
