Question about Illuminations, etc.

We are going to DisneyWorld in October and I was told not to bother trying to get on the Illuminations cruise or carriage ride or any other thing where you have to call and get on the schedule because there was enough to do without worrying about things like that. We are going in a group and the ones in charge have a schedule already made up for us but there is free time in the schedule. Should I make an attempt or not?

While I find Disney magical every trip, I do always try to plan one extra special thing (fireworks cruise, carriage ride, backstage tour, etc.) I would say go for it, especially since it sounds like you want it

The nice thing about scheduling something like that is you wont have to worry about it, its booked. So let them worry about the things they didnt schedule and I suggest you book a cruise and not worry a bit about it
