Question about ice cream cookie sandwhich at Main Street Bakery

So I was on allears.net checking prices for random items and noticed the cookie ice cream sandwhich price varies from 1.49 - 6.09 Huh? How can it vary that much?

Some locations sell the Good Humor Ice Cream Sandwich and then some sell the most awesome dessert on the planet - big choc chip cookies covered in ice cream.... yum! I payed around 4.00 for mine.

Has anyone been able to get this with Tofutti or another non-dairy icecream? Or are they premade? I know the kids would love this but one cannot have ice cream and I dont want to take them in there if they all cannot get one.

Unfortunately, only dairy ice cream. Just like the lattes, they do not have a dairy substitute.

So untrue! My son is allergic to almost everything... any place that has ice cream in WDW has alternatives (except for the carts) and you can ask for Rice Dream or other substitutes... he may just need his sandwhich specially made... FYI if you have not already done so, call Disney's main line and ask to speak with one of their dietary ppl... they will hook you up with info on all alternatives used in WDW and can make special accomodations to your ADRs!

I was just there last week and I'm pretty sure I noticed Rice Dream and Tofutti listed on the menu at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. They share a kitchen with the Bakery and if you order one of the cookie ice cream sandwiches, any flavor that the Plaza has can be used.
