Question about HS on Dec 11th

Our flight gets into Orlando at 2:30 on Sunday, December 11th, and I noticed that it's extra magic hours at Hollywood Studios that evening until 11. Would it be feasible to think we could get our shuttle, check in, and be at HS by 8? And will the park be crazy busy that night? Our only day that we have planned to do HS is Saturday the 17th, and I think it might be more crowded by then since it's early EMH, so I'm thinking just having a few hours that evening might be good, but not if it's crazy busy or if we would be rushing too much to get through check in and get there.

Actually if your flight gets in at 2:30 you will easily be checked in and at a Park by 5:00.
