We know a couple who may be going to WDW with us in July. They ere very private. They plan to rent a cabin at Fort Wilderness and do not like the idea of anyone in their cabin when they are not present. Can they request that housekeeping not come to their cabin?

If you post on the resorts board you will get a better response. :sunny:

I don't the answer.

I would agree that you might be better off posting this on the Resorts Board.

But, I would think that they could request that Housekeeping not come in when they're not present.

Questions about Fort Wilderness belong on the camping board here on the DIS.

You might also think about renting DVC points for a stay there. For short stays, there is no housekeeping, and I'm sure you coud request none on longer stays. Might be cheaper than a cabin too, and a better location.

Thank you all for your replies! Maybe I will look into renting DVC points. Where can I find out how to rent DVC points?

Check out the DVC Boards on the DIS. Also, allearsnet.com has info about DVC points.
