Question about Hotwire & car rentals

DH & I are heading down to Orlando on Friday. Can't decide whether to get the rental car we have on hold or go with Magical Express (got the "tickets" for this too).

So, I get an e-mail from Hotwire this morning regarding discount car rentals. If we rent through Hotwire we'd save a little over $20.

The thing I'm concerned about is that it doesn't tell you where the car would be rented from. It just says that the deal with Hertz, Budget & Avis. Although it says the car will be picked up at MCO it doesn't say what company.

We don't want to have to go off-site. Anyone worked with Hotwire that knows how it works? Do they have a counter at MCO & they tell you when you arrive what company you're using?

I'm not sure I have this posted on the correct board, so I'm going to post it on the Transportation Board also.

They will tell you immediately after you accept what car company the rental will be with. They do not have a specific counter at MCO. They only deal with the major car rental companies but there's not guarantee that you'll get an on-site company. We've rented from them before and have gotten Alamo (when they were off-site), National and Avis (off-site). We knew, going in, that there was a chance we'd get an off-site so that wasn't a problem. The $$$ saved was well worth it to us. Good luck!
