Question about Hotels & Crowds

So, we are looking at a trip over Vetrans day to DL, was wondering about the Hotels that are on Katella Ave right across the street. Does anyone have a rec's on which ones It looks like you can walk to DL from there on the maps. Can anyone tell me if it is really withing walking dist? Also I am curious about the crowds over Veterans day?

We stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn in August - right across the street from the DLR entrance. It takes about five minutes to walk from the BWPPI to the DLR gates. The BWPPI is the absolute closest for walking distance, except for possibly the DLR hotel Grand Californian, which is about the same and maybe a little closer.
