Hi I am just wondering do you know the mattresses on the hotel cheyenne bunk beds can they be removed and placed on the floor to sleep on, are you allowed to do this, say ,aybe if you have 2 younger kids and none were old enough to really sleep up a height? Also i am aware the bunk beds have a weight limit, but are they long bunk beds or short ones.

Do all hotel cheyenne rooms come with bunks or do some come with 2 double beds?

As far as I know all rooms in Cheyenne are with bunk beds.

Im hoping they are large enough for our 21 yr old son to sleep in when we go at Easter. If they are like the ones at DCR they should be fine. Im sure you could have taken those matresses off but I'll try and remember to check at Easter if thats not too late. Not sure if you are allowed though or not.

I'm sure they was a weight restriction on the bunk beds at the Cheyenne. Hopefully someone will have a better memory than me ;)

the weight restriction is around 11 stone, surely though the mattresses should be removable how else would they make the beds otherwise and I guess as long as you put it back in the morning they would be none the wiser lmao.

But I hope someone would be able to answer this.

There isn't enough floorspace in a Cheyenne room to take a bunk bed mattress off and lay it on the floor.

Maybe you'd be better looking at another hotel which gives you 2 double beds as standard, rather than a double and bunks? Although I'm sure I've read on here that there are rooms at the Cheyenne without bunks and with 2 doubles instead - maybe you could request that?

Last september we stayed at the Cheyenne with my two sons - 21 and 14 - they slept in the bunk beds and they were long enough for them.

I think i have read somewhere the weight limit is 75 kgm - don't know in stones and pounds sorry :confused3

I dont think there is enough space in the room to put the mattresses on the floor anyway, sure there was NOT in the room we had unless you dont want to walk on them just in case you need the toilet at night :lmao:
