Question about Hopping from Epcot to DHS

So assuming I want to get to over to EP-FW entrance in time for rope drop to ride TT, what time should I arrive at DHS parking lot?

Assuming 9am opening, you will want to be at the DHS parking lot between 7.45 and 8. It will take approximately 20-30 minutes to walk from DHS to Epcot IG (depending how fast you walk) and then another 10-15 minutes to walk to Test Track. They normally start letting people into the park at around 8.50 at IG, since you have to walk to the front of the park.

Thanks! I think walking will be Plan B (in case the bus doesn't show up). Do you think the same time frame applies if we are planning to catch the bus to the front of EP-FW? I'm still surprised a bus even runs that route (DHS -->EP). There can't be a lot of people going from DHS to EP at 8AM. Or is the bus on a loop (resort --> DHS --> EP)?

We still want to get to EP early because we don't have FP for TT... It seems like hopping is very complicated, lol.

Yes, there's a bus.

The walk is about a mile.

Plus another half mile from the International Gateway to Test Track.
Your idea is the best one.

Is the walk from Epcot to HS well marked with directional signs? It doesn't look like a clear path from the map. Don't want to get confused and go the wrong way making a long walk longer.

I don't remember any signs, but I wasn't looking for them, either. I have a really good sense of direction and can memorize maps pretty easily.

If you have difficulty following a map, consider taking the boat.
