Question about Hoop Dee Doo?

How exactly do I get there? I know that it is somewhere at Fort Wilderness, but I don't know where!

We went years ago, but as far as I know, it hasn't changed. We took a boat launch from Contemporary over to Fort Wilderness. After we got off the boat, we just walked right to the hall where Hoop Dee Doo was. It was very easy to get to.

Where are you coming from? There are several ways to get there, depending upon where you're heading from.

Right now we're planning on heading there straight from our resort - Saratoga Springs.

Having stayed at Fort Wildnerness several times, I can say that their interior bus system is very confusing. The HDDR is towards the back of FW, by the boat dock. Coming from another resort, I would suggest you take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take the boat from MK to FW. Once you get off the boat at FW, it is just a few minutes walk to the HDDR....you won't be able to miss it. That being said, I would suggest giving yourself about an hour worth of transportation time to get from Saratoga to FW.

Does that make sense? Any other questions?

Thank you so much! Now that I know that HDDR is so close to the boat dock, I'll make sure we plan on taking the boat from Magic Kingdom.

Also, thank you for the advice about the travel time. It's really hard to judge the bus schedule - it seems like no matter how hard I try, I almost always have to wait at least 15 minutes for whatever bus I need!

Also, just for reference, the HDDR is right next door to the Trails End Restaurant. You are definitely better off giving yourself plenty of time to get there, because they will start the show without you! If you end up being too early, you can always sit the lounge/bar area of the Trails End next door until its time for your show. That's what we did....sidled up to the Trails End bar for a Saspirilla while we waited. Actually, it was for a Coke, but I thought that sounded better!
