question about Hoop-De-Doo

We have a 5pm reservation for the Hoop-Dee-Doo this Monday. My children are 14 and 6. What age is this event geared for? And are there any characters there?

The whole cast is a cast of characters but not "Disney" characters. The show is a western themed show and corney but lots of fun for kids and adults.

we have done the HDD many times and really enjoy the fun! your kids will have a great time.

We were there again (2nd time) and we had 2-15 yr. olds, 8 yr old, 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. Plus GPs and Mom and Dad. Everyone loved the show corny as it was and the chicken is fabulous. You can ask to take the leftovers home if you have a place to keep it or eat it as a late night snack. This was our 1st 5pm show and it was as packed as the 7pm seating we had a couple yrs ago. Have fun.

everyone always likes it.

not us.....we HATED it.....we're not into chowing down food while watching a show at the same time....

i wish they would bring back the Melvyn the Moose breakfast that i think used to be in the same building....much more laid back and tons of fun...

hoop de doo was probably the only thing my family has done at WDW that we truly hated....

Great for all ages, and we have always loved it - and everyone we've taken with us to it!

My kiddos like it and they were 3, 4, 6, & 8 when we went last year, but this next trip the kiddos and I are staying behind so DH can go with his parents. We'd rather spend the $$$ on a character meal.
