Question about Hoop De Doo at 9:30pm or 7:15pm

I just made our reservation at HDDR and am really excited. We haven't been before and it sounds really fun. I chose the 9:30 time so we could be in cat 1 (on the dining plan) and I don't think my kids will have trouble eating that late, but now I'm wondering if it's worth it to be in cat 1 or should I try to switch it to the 7:15 time and get cat 2?

Any opinions on this would be appreciated!

We like eating late so for us the Cat 1 works well on the dining plan for the 9:30. I really think it is a matter of timing for your children. If you think they will do better eating early I wouldn't worry too much about Cat 2 as it's not a bad area. That being said, I like Cat 1 as you are closer to the "action". Oh dear, I don't think I am helping at all!! LOL!! Really do what you think is best for your family. There are little ones at the last seating and they all seem to be enjoying it. We will be there right after Christmas and I am looking forward to it very much. Have fun at either seating!!

The kids are 10 and 7 so they stay up late anyway. I'm really excited! Thanks for the help!

I agree with PP, it totally depends on your family's needs. Eating at 9:30 is late.
That said, if it works for your kids, I think Category 1 seating is worth it.
We paid OOP last year to be in Cat 1 seating
It is a great show
