Hi everyone,
I'm sure this question has been asked and re-asked a million times but I didn't have much luck with the search interface.
I am about to buy a contract with my home resort as BLT. I understand you can book for your home resort 11 months out, and non-home resorts 7 months out.
So, if one were to purchase additional points at a different resort (e.g. AKV) would that also give you home resort status there, and thus be able to book 11 months out? If so, would even a small amount of points give you this ability (for example 50 points?) And finally, if it does give you home resort status there, assuming you had the same usage year for the new points and the old points, could you pool them together to use for booking at either resort of your choosing 11 months out?
Thanks!!
