hi, I have a 5yr (almost 6) DD and a 2yr ( almost 3) DS, we are going to Disney in December flying out of Buffalo with a 45min Connection in Atlanta... NOW, I know I want to take my Double Aria Stoller with us, the question is should I gate check it ???

Also do you think that I can make a 45min Connection ... I usually fly direct, but it's just saving us a whole lot of money doing a connection flight... I keep having visions of the Amazing Race ... me,My DH and the kids racing accros the airport !!

thanks
Claud

I would defintely suggest taking the stroller into the airport and gate checking it. When you get off the plane it will be waiting right at the door for you. You'll be able to get across the airport faster if the little ones are in the stroller. Atlanta's airport is laid out nicely and it shouldn't be a problem getting to the connecting flight,45-min is pretty standard. I know it'll be a little more challenging with the little ones. I would suggest getting to your gate first and then doing the potty breaks if possible. Have a great trip!!

Ditto to gate check the stroller. We had 35 minutes to make a connection in Atlanta a few years ago and had no trouble at all--even time for a potty break! I had visions of running through a crowded airport, but it wasn't bad at all.

We seem to always have a connection with flights because we live by such a small airport. And as some 45 minutes is plenty of time to go potty and stop and eat a slice of pizza and ice cream....some we've had less than 10 minutes to run to the opposite end of the airport and hop on the plane when everyone is already seated and ready to go. Therefore, definatly bring the stroller it will be so much easier to move across the airport, rushed or not, and the flight attendents are very nice about storing it for the flight and having it ready for you when you get off. And be ready for anything....you never know when a storm or anything else can hold your 1st plane from leaving on time and getting to your connecting flight on time. And if something does happen where you end up at your connecting flight late, just tell the flight attendents...they have been able to make a call to make sure our connecting flight didn't leave without us before. :wave2:
