Hi everyone,

I am currently at WDW but some of our party want to go to IOA tomorrow to try the Harry Potter ride. Is it better for them to get there right at park opening in regards to the wait time, or is later in the day better (I notice the park closes at 6:00 tomorrow). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Than you!

Denise

I would get there first thing in the morning and cut through Dr. Suess to get there. This will bring you in at the train entrance.

Best is be there BEFORE opening. They let non-resort guests in appro 15-20 mins PRIOR to scheduled opening time, from there head right thru Seussland and to Harry Potter.Be aware that resort guests have early entry and that part of IOA will already be pretty busy. You can also try and tour late in the day prior to closing, but sometimes the lines aren't much better

Thanks so much for the info. I knew about the early entry so I warned them of the possible long waits. I think I will suggest they get there prior to opening.

Thank you!

Denise

go early and enjoy what you can if it is crowded there.

go back in the last hour or so before park closing.

the crowds do thin out at that time period.

you should have less waits for fj and the shops then.

if this is your only trip to IOA, do early morning and evening time.

get your butterbeer inside hogshead.
