I received an email today, and there was a link that took me to Happy Limousines Website. and I have a few questions that I was hoping someone here can answer for me (even though its not the preferred limo service of the DIS boards)
anyway, I figured Id take a look at the pricing to compare to Tiffany Towncar (I have used Tiffany for 5 years and am ver happy with them, but figured if Intercot endorses Happy, they must be good too).
Anyway while browsing through the pricing, I see alot of extras that you need to pay besides the $100 fee for a regular sedan.
THESE QUOTES WERE CUT AND PASTED DIRECTLY FROM THEIR WEBSITE
**Airport sur-charge of $10.00 for sedans, excursions and for vans(10 PAX) and $10.00 for stretch limos, and 14 passenger vans will be added to all pickups from MCO**
***Late/Early pickup charge of $10.00 each way will be added for pickups between 11:00pm-6:00am Eastern time***
**Rates listed above are base rates only and do not include gratuity, tolls, airport & fuel sur-charges**
Now I know that they are $5 more than Tiffany in their rates for a R/T ride from MCO/Orlando Intl Airport, which is nothing when you are going to Walt Disney World.
But with these EXTRAS its a joke.
With Tiffany you pay $95 plus gratuity and THATS IT.
With HAPPY LIMO it seems the same trip will cost $110 plus tolls and gratuity, and if you travel like I do it will be $120 because i always need to catch a 6-7 am flight back home which means I would need to pay the early pickup charge.
Oh yes, and if you need a car or booster seat, which Florida State Law requires for all young children in a car, they charge $5 each and tiffany does not.
I must say These prices are INSANE!!!!!
And, just 1 more Item I dont get at all - WHAT is a Fuel Surcharge - and how do I know how much they will charge me, do they see how much Fuel they use for my trip and charge me when we get to the resort or airport.
I hope someone can explain to me about all these EXTRAS, because I really would like to know whats up with this company and their rates.
