Question about Handicap Parking in WDW

they are kind of close, it really depends on where you get a spot and how much you can walk. They to have wheel chair you can use if you can find one. MK is the one where you do have to walk a good bit to get to the TTC to then take the boat or monorail over to the MK

Cool thanks! My wife has her own chair so that won't be an issue.

if you have your won chair and a HC tag then you should not have any problems getting to the parks from the Handicap spots ( not sure if they will up or not)

Magic Kingdom is some distance from the handicap parking spaces. You have to proceed through an underpass to the TTC, then take either the monorail or ferry to the park - so if you're staying onsite, Disney transportation is generally recommended. The spaces still comply with the ADA, including proximity, but they're not especially close.

The other parks, yes. The spots meet the goal of getting the person out of the flow of traffic as safely and quickly as possible.

Handicapped parking at the Magic Kingdom is not close. After you park you will need to then get on the monorail or ferry boat to the park. Walt Disney did this design thinking he wanted people to be transported to a different world. Never imagining the number of people visiting a day.
