Question about group fastpasses

Our current trip plans are for my immediate family, plus my BIL's family and a cousin's family. I'm the primary trip planner for everyone. I have everyone from all three families listed in my friends and family list.

Recently successfully made fastpass selections for the entire group. Then I found out that cousin's family is most likely going to cancel their trip.

My question is if/when they do cancel, will their fastpasses automatically disappear? Are the fastpasses of those of us still going to be unaffected? I'm just a little worried since the fastpasses are all grouped together, plus I want to make sure I free them up for others. Thanks.

You choose each fastpass for each person individually so I'm sure it won't be a problem. You could always call Disney to double check and have them do the same when they cancel their reservation.

Your FP+ will not be affected if they cancel. FP is by individual. If they do cancel, their FP may or may not disappear - depends on how their tickets were purchased. If they had a package that included tickets, then the FP will disappear a day or so after the package is cancelled. If the tickets were purchased separately, or they have APs, then the FP will remain unless/until they cancel them.
But in any case, the FP for the rest of the group will be unaffected.
