Hello! I had a quick question about the Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian. If I were to go to the brunch, is it possible to buy just individual plates or mandatory to pay for the buffet? I was hoping to save some money, because the buffet is a little too expensive and just buy a plate of Mickey waffles and maybe a side of fruit. I never wake up early enough for the waffles on mainstreet. Thanks!

No the breakfast is a character meal and only buffet. They have a lunch menu, though, after the character breakfast is over.

It was one of my biggest bummer moments when they went 'Character' for breakfast as we always had our 'farewell breakfast' at Storytellers. There is no way I can justify the price of the buffet.

They do have 'lighter' breakfasts 'to go' at Whitewater Snacks, you can still get room service breakfasts, but our fav is to take the little walk over to Steakhouse 55 for breakfast. Yummy food and great Bellinis!
